If I hear one more person use the ridiculous term “human capital” in a business environment (much less anywhere else), I think I’m gonna drive the porcelain bus.
We’re talking about people, folks. Moms, dads, grandmas, grandpas, brother, sisters, aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and so on. Not even the police call their K-9 dogs “canine capital”.
This mention of “human capital” is what tripped my trigger on this today. I was hoping for more substance from the list, but it’s rather obvious stuff that could apply to ANY niche or audience.
You could replace the word “Hispanic” with “Republican”, “soccer mom”, “fisherman” or “trucker” and the list of “Hispanic marketing mistakes” to avoid would STILL be valid.
Do your research. Market to the right customer in THEIR lingo. And for crying out loud, stop calling people “human capital”.
