This is so true! We’ve been doing marketing ad-hoc for years and finally bit the bullet to hire a full-time marketing employee – thanks for the book suggestions.

We are already doing more for marketing this month than we have ever done in an entire summer.

That is great advice! Often times people do not put the effort into "X" activity, because they feel they got it covered. I like your idea of just adding a little at a time, so that the time spent is not overwhelming, yet it should yield steady, positive results. Hmmm reminds me of the power of compound interesting...
