It really isn't about protecting the children. I see it as anti-family legislation. The costs of everything for children will skyrocket, making young families suffer the brunt of this. And why are they punishing retailers? The law could have been written to regulate all the dangerous junk that comes in from China at the docks, but as it is, it will punish many mom-and-pop and other family enterprises.
