Hm, that’s actually a very interesting point. Apple never really shows off a product before it’s ready to be sold. Not only does this get people to buy the product while still excited about it after its announcement, it also creates a lot of buzz and speculation about the product’s appearance and features before it is announced. It’s like free pre-launch marketing. -Rob
