********* is looking for a smart, motivated person who isn't afraid to learn something new.

The job
We need someone to help our customers with the answers they need. Sometimes, they need to be shown how to perform a task step-by-step. Other times they simply need a list of steps and can be sent on their way. Most importantly, you must to be able to discern which person is which before it is too late. Sometimes a customer simply needs to be reminded of their password. Other times, a customer's hard drive may have crashed and they will need help restoring their databases from a backup. Sometimes, a customer will have installed 27 copies of our program on their computer and you will be expected to help them figure out which one is the real one and how to get rid of the bogus 26 copies without deleting "the good stuff", without losing your patience and without making the customer feel like a fool. Other opportunities may present themselves to the smart, motivated person who shows they "get it". Sales commissions are possible.

Day to day duties
Day to day, your responsibilities will typically consist of helping customers install and use our software products, assisting customers with general computer issues such as network setup, problem diagnosis and POS hardware installation, helping users to integrate our product with other standard applications and industry specific software, and most importantly, rescuing our customers when bad things happen without making them feel stupid. You might be asked to pack a box for shipment now and then, or maybe drive someone here to pick up their car at the shop. It's what nice people do for each other.
