When my older Scouts teach the younger Scouts how to build a fire, they encourage them to get all the stuff they need BEFORE they strike the first match.
Grab all the tinder you need to get the kindling lit.
Grab all the kindling you need to light slightly larger sticks.
This continues, as they grab bigger and bigger sticks until they can get and keep that fire going without constantly running around like crazy to keep it going.
Once they’ve built a bed of coals, they’ll have the time to find another log to put on the fire without having to tend it constantly.
Are you looking around for another log to put on your business’ campfire?
